A state of mind that the Founding President of PGS Group and his partner Michael Modugno, Vice- President and Founder, has preserved over time. After opening its first subsidiary in the United Arab Emirates, announced on March 6, PGS Group the leading wood pallet manufacturer, creates PGS Morocco and signs the opening of its second subsidiary outside Europe.

Based in Casablanca, the economic capital of the kingdom, this new entity is expected to develop the manufacturing and reconditioning of pallets Group’s in the territory. A country chosen by the board of PGS for its economic dynamism and its geographical position which makes Morocco a "hub" for all international companies wishing to expand in Africa. "In fact, our teams were already present here for several months," said Michael Modugno, in charge of international development. "Locally, we have developed strong partnerships with local manufacturers and refurbishers. We have trained our employees and made the necessary infrastructure to be able to meet the needs and quality requirements for pallets of our key accounts. "A paid approach since the creation of PGS Morocco is accompanied by first signing a contract with one of its traditional customers, also present in Morocco. Eventually, PGS will be ability to provide a volume of 150,000 reconditioned pallets per year.

To cope with an increasing demand - PGS are already negotiating with other companies - the Group also plans to open by the summer the first production site. PGS Morocco will be driven by Wameq Nezam, a Group collaborator previously employed as Head of International Development, emigrated for the occasion and became CEO of the subsidiary. "At PGS, we offer real prospects. We train and coach on the field several of our employees for their offer then, if they wish, they can go to a country of their choice. Our goal is to always have a pool of employees with entrepreneurial spirit, willing to take on challenges!" says Michael Modugno.

PGS Group will exhibit at the International Exhibition of Transport and Logistics for the Mediterranean (Medlog) stand 90N, from 6 to 8 May 2014 in Casablanca.
